Who are Robin’s Readers?

Members of an exclusive club for fans who are eager to read my books—before they release—and tell their friends about them. My launch team will consist of my first readers, my inside club, my most enthusiastic fans.

Interested in joining?

I’m looking for readers who are excited about my books and want to share them with people in their spheres of influence. I’m looking for people with a little availability and a lot of enthusiasm.

What do I have to do?

All members will receive a free advance electronic copy of every Robin Patchen novel. Your job: read the book before it releases and, if you like it, spread the word.

How can I spread the word?

The first and most important part of your job as a member of this team is to write a review and post it to Amazon, Goodreads, and wherever else you like to post. It doesn’t have to be long or expertly written, just clear and honest. If it’s a short paragraph, great. If it’s four or five paragraphs, that’s great too. This is the only requirement—that you review the book.

After you review the book, there are lots of other things you can do. You can talk about the book on Facebook, blog about it, tweet about it, and share the cover and your thoughts on Pinterest. You could write a review for your local paper, suggest the title to book clubs, and add the book to Goodreads lists. You could donate a copy to your local library, too, and give copies to friends. Just as important as all of that, tell your friends about the book. Help people discover it.

What’s in it for me?

Of course, there’s the free advance copy of the book. Also, this group will get the inside scoop on what I’m working on, will have the opportunity to help me name characters, and will get to see and offer insights on covers and back cover copy. Not only that, but occasionally, this group will receive free surprises from me.
